What are the elements that all great stories have in common? How can we step back from our works-in-progress to gain insight into what’s going right and what’s going wrong?

Can models such as Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey really help us to transform our writing? Do archetypes help or hurt our storytelling?

Delve deep into the writing process to explore the progression from the ordinary world, to finding allies and ogres, to creating extraordinary stakes, and ultimately to achieving satisfying, memorable resolutions.
